🏕️ What to expect · Moose Brook State Park site 025 (8/24–28): a wooded standard site + hot showers at camp + a brook + a swimming pond; Gorham 5 min away (with a Walmart: wood/ice/chicken legs all restock there); ~10°C nights under blankets; black-bear country — food lives in the trunk; little to no cell service in the park (the booking's own words) — run the Starlink obstruction scan on arrival, shower-building clearing first (the Fish Creek lesson). Office = the N Conway plaza, 35 min.
⚠️ Two "classic recommendations" are dead (verified 8/21 — the new rule at work): ① Cannon's aerial tramway retired in October 2025; a replacement won't run before ~2028 — don't go; ② Wildcat's gondola was dismantled in 1999 — the "summer scenic gondola" is stale internet.
