不再围着 Sea Ranch Lodge 转——只找"开阔天空 + 有淋浴 + 州立公园价"的营地，Starlink 是主力（家测✅），营地间可以换（每天车程≤1小时）。三个真正能打的方向 + 一批被诚实淘汰的（八月内陆 35–40°C，白天没法坐外面办公——Pinnacles/Del Valle/Folsom 都因此出局）。

玩：Capitola 彩色小屋、西崖步道、Santa Cruz 栈桥、Natural Bridges 潮池、周末 Monterey/Carmel（17-Mile）。下一轮黎明负潮 8/8–8/12 正好接 Week 2——这里也有潮池和 pismo 蛤（要执照）。
⚠️ 两个诚实提醒：① 3h45 车程去了就别折腾回来；② 八月山区看烟——出发前查 AirNow/fire.ca.gov，有烟立刻切 A 方案。玩：Rubicon 步道、湖里游泳、Emerald Bay、租桨板。
7月来过：Spud Point 蟹肉三明治、Bodega Head 看鲸、防波堤钓石蟹（要执照，码头例外规则这里不适用——Doran 堤不是"公共码头"，稳妥起见按要执照准备）。风大是特色：碟和桌子都压稳。

Starlink 主力 → 手机热点 → 开去最近的镇/咖啡馆 → 电话拨入。A 方案的兜底是史上最强：Capitola/Santa Cruz 满街咖啡馆和满格信号，6:00–8:00 的"无咖啡馆真空期"第一次消失（城市24h网络）。B 方案兜底=Tahoma/Tahoe City（15–20min）；C=Bodega镇。每天 5:45 预检+日志照旧。

🎯 The reframe
No more orbiting Sea Ranch Lodge — just find "open sky + showers + state-park pricing", with Starlink as the primary link (home-tested ✅) and camp-hopping allowed (≤1 h of driving per day). Three directions that genuinely work, plus an honestly-rejected list (inland August runs 95–105°F — you can't sit outside and work; that alone killed Pinnacles/Del Valle/Folsom).

Play: Capitola's painted houses, West Cliff, the Boardwalk, Natural Bridges tidepools, Monterey/Carmel weekend (17-Mile). The next dawn minus-tide cycle (8/8–8/12) rolls straight into Week 2 — this coast has tidepools and pismo clams too (license needed).
⚠️ Two honest flags: ① at 3h45, go and stay gone; ② August mountains = smoke watch — check AirNow/fire.ca.gov the morning you leave; smoke = switch to A instantly. Play: Rubicon Trail, lake swims, Emerald Bay, paddleboard rentals.
July territory: Spud Point crab sandwiches, whales off Bodega Head, rock crab off the jetty (license — the public-pier exemption doesn't apply to the Doran jetty, so assume licensed). Wind is the local personality: weight the dish and the table.

Check out by 12:00 on Sat 8/8. The fork after: ① home to rest ② roll straight into Week 2, the Golden Tide Week (dawn minus tides from 8/9, north coast) ③ extend in place if RC shows nights. 8/8 checkout → 8/9 drive north is a seamless handoff.

Starlink → phone hotspot → drive to the nearest town/café → dial in. Option A has the strongest fallback stack ever: Capitola/Santa Cruz are wall-to-wall cafés and full bars, and the 6:00–8:00 "no-café vacuum" disappears for the first time (city networks run all night). B's fallback = Tahoma/Tahoe City (15–20 min); C = Bodega town. The 5:45 pre-check + logging routine carries on.
